We anchored in Gatun Lake while some passengers took a shore tour. The parade of ships coming through the canal was interesting. This is an automobile carrier coming from Korea or Japan. They are called Ro/Ro (Roll On - Roll Off) in the trade. and they carry between 4,500 and 8,000 automobiles, largely from the Far East to the U.S. East Coast.
