GLASS WORKS

Czechs are known for their beautiful glass objects. Bohemian crystal comes in a tremendous variety of shapes and colors. I visited two glass factories. The first and most interesting was with the Charles Univ. language group. Most of the pictures below are from that tour. The factory was blowing colored vases. They even let one of the students try his hand at blowing. The second was a paid tour with our friends to what amounted to a high volume cut crystal glass works.
