CHARLES UNIV CLASSMATES

I went to Prague in July of 2005 to attend a one month Czech language course for beginners. The course was given by Summer Prague University (SPU) at Charles University. It was very intensive, but I was pleased to find that my 70 year old brain was still capable of learning, albeit much slower than my young classmates. School was not all studies. We had tours, movies, lectures and a weekly pub crawl. I lived within a five minute walk from the classroom which was located on Celetna Street, just a hundred yards or so off of Old Town Square.
